A film based on a book is never better than the film, and that is why never worth filming, but

Every book is special. I guess that if there are lovers of some book-books and they have money, they will be able to film it then maybe it will not be totally like a book, even with some changes but still it will be an alternative version. Books are always much bigger than films. People are not always able to read the whole book, so they decide to watch the shorter version, and if they like it, they will read a book and compare. One of the problems that films are mostly made with Hollywood shine and if a book was written many centuries ago and a film was filmed in 2013-14,  it can have a lot of those Hollywood clichés.

According to this film, Pammela did not want to film her book and when she already agreed she started controlling a filming process to prevent Hollywood clichés from destroying her book. She wanted to keep everything like it was in book.  But times went by, memories surfaced and she decided to soften her opinion. The Film makers changed the end, and Pammela liked it to tears.

So I guess that everything depends on a producer and film makers who either make another masterpiece or make such an awful trash that people will not even read the book.

Beard and non-beard periods of my life

sp-studio sp-studio (1)

I have recollection of my first day in nursery school. That was September, of course,  a lot of new faces were around and I was a bit afraid. After such doing I remember one tall guy took me by the hand and with teachers and other pupils we went to our first lesson.

Few years later just before to go to the 1st form I had surgery. The kind doctor cut me out appendicitis. Despite this fact I still entered primary school №2 in my native town. There I blossomed intellectually and excelled at sport.

At the age of 10 I entered comprehensive school where I faced a lot of different subjects. As the years were passing my intellectually was fading away and was replaced by laziness.

At the age of 15 I entered college. My speciality was computer typesetting and record-keeping. I do not know how but it was not very hard for me. There I was bright enough to be rewarded a scholarship.

The time of External Independent Assessment. I had enough points to enter to university so I chose computer engineering but there were very different subjects and I decided to transfer to Philology Institution.

If I could do it all again, would I do anything differently?  I would change something and I would not change anything, indeed. The things change for the better and for the worse and vice versa so I used to try something new.

Desolation of Smaug or how i met a dragon

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is an epic adventure and fantasy film directed by Peter Jackson and released 2nd of December 2013. It is the second instalment of a three-part film adaptation based on the 1937 novel The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien. The 1st part is An Unexpected Journey released on 28th of November 2012 and the 3rd part There and Back Again is filming now and will be released at the end of 2014. Together they will act as a prequel to Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. The film has been nominated for three Academy Awards: Best Visual Effects, Best Sound Editing, and Best Sound Mixing. The cast are followed: Ian McKellen as Gandalf the Grey, Martin Freeman as Bilbo Beggins, Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield, Orlando Bloom as Legolas, Evangeline Lilly as Tauriel, Benedict Cumberbarch as Smaug(vocal perfomance and motion capture) etc.

The action begins when Bilbo, 13 Dwarves and Gandalf the Grey escape via giant hawks, horde of orcs and hide in the mountains. Dwarves with Gandalf the Grey and Bilbo Beggins continue their journey to The Lonely Mountain the 7th kingdom of dwarves that is dwelled by Smaug the great fire-spitting dragon. Their path lies through Mirkwood crowded with different sinister creatures. When Gandalf the Grey comes inside the wood there he finds orcs’ signs and leaves. Dwarves with Bilbo leave alone in this dangerous wood. Inside the forest they lose their way and are caught by giant spiders. Fortunately the wood elves come, led by Legolas and Tauriel, who imprison the Dwarves and bring them to their king Thranduil. Bilbo is not captured and therefore he frees dwarves and escape from elves. The company meets Bard from Esgaroth and asks him to help them to reach Lake-town. Meanwhile Gandalf the Grey meets Radagast to descend into the tombs of  Nazgul. As soon as wizards find the tombs empty Gandalf decide going to Dol Guldur where he finds an army of orcs and The Dark Lord Sauron. After the dwarves attempting to get steel weapons were captured, the Master of Lake-town believes in dwarves’ prophecy and lets them go to their Lonely Mountain. When company reaches the secret entrance into the mountain Thorin asks Bilbo to find the Arkenstone. Bilbo Beggins is going inside and in search accidentally wakes up Smaug. Sensing that dragon is awekened, the dwarves rush inside and start to invent different trap to defeat dragon even with the help of  molten gold but Smaug survives and now he is going to incinerate the Lake-town.

This film is very spine-tingling that will keep you on the edge of your seat during the whole film with a powerful climax. The cast was really sensational and their acting was brilliant. Phenomenally successful and unanimously acclaimed by the critics.

I totally recommend watching this film for everyone who likes or dislikes fantasy. This is a must-see story about journeys, fights and magic that will absorb you.  It is one of the few films that everyone should see nowadays.

The International 3

Kendrick Lim worked as a game designer at a Tokyo-based studio for some time before he joined forces with artists Stanley Lau and Kai Lim to found Imaginary Friends Studios, one of the premiere Asian-based art studios, known for their contributions to the real-time strategy genre. Aside from his game work, Lim has worked extensively on book, magazine and trading card art for AAA companies.

What Lim is best known for, however, is his contributions to the Dota series. For the majority of IceFrog’s tenure as the designer of Defense of the Ancients, he has relied heavily upon Lim’s artistic talents for producing custom loading screens on an annual basis. When Valve Corporation hired IceFrog and acquired the Dota franchising rights, Lim was welcomed as a contractor for producing concept art, as well as promotional and fan pieces for Dota 2.

His last painting was “Clash of The Heroes II” He depicted the final match between Alliance (Sweden) and Natus Vincere (Ukraine) in competition for 1.000.000$ price. That match was 4th of 5 in the largest competition in the world in DOTA2 game. This tournament was held in Banaroya Hall in Seattle the home of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. The hall was full of fans that came from every corner of Earth. Also more than 1.000.000 were watching this broadcast online.

In the picture you can see the straggle between 10 heroes and the most powerful creature in game Roshan. He painted the moment of the final battle when every hero casts his abilities.

That was really one of the most epic game in history of such competitions. Every fans was thrilling and cheering for his favourite team.

I wish I were an ancient black dragon with the huge wings and a firm scale . On my head I’d  have 2 long horns.  My teeth would be very sturdy to nip off anything.  On every foot I’d have powerful claws. Also as every dragon  I would emit fire from my throat and do an horrendous roar.

Usually I would lay in my lair but as soon as goblins finish and wear my armor I’d flight around the mountains, rivers and forests burning to ashes everything on my path. When some noble warriors would come I would either burn them or tear to pieces because no one would deserve my treasure. I would live either eternal or until the really noble dragonslayer would arrive.

My life.

Weather -_-

This September is very awful. The Weather is so cold and often rains but still I am bored and a bit amazed because cold weather comes so quick but I am calm and relaxed. I do not care about weather, except when it is very hot or when it is very cold and everything is closed, then I feel me exhilarated.

Health >_<

Almost all days of the last week I was ill. I was little disillusioned because I missed 3 days of studying.  Those days were as usual very terrible. I was not very cheerful or dejected I just was angry at my eyes because they produced tears every 30 seconds, and at the end of the day they became red.

Studying °_° ¬_¬

When I study, I feel my uncertain. I can be either resentful or pensive, I can be either active or disappointed. But mostly I feel my sociable, elated, frivolous and enthusiastic.

Demon from hell

First time I saw him when I was watching TV.  It was a band Dimmu Borgir. I did not know what but something changed inside my body. That clip was so exciting and breathtaking.

His nickname is Shagrath, he is an Norwegian black metal musician the vocalist of  Dimmu Borgir. I was stunned by his appearance. He was normal height with slender body. His face was oval with shoulder-length straight black hair and a goatee. His dark eyes were full of fire, passion and thrilling motives. His face as usually was painted in white with black lines. His clothes seemed very brutal and violent because of his black leather pants and jacket, elbows full of spikes that were usual for all black metal bands and their members.

His character reminded me a very obsessive person. His obsession was spiteful and malicious and included anti-Christian reasons because he usually wore inverted crucifix of Christ , demonic possession as in the clip he can either summons something or burns in fire. Also he was an aggressive person with thrilling voice that often screamed.
