American Hustle

American Hustle is a crime film directed by David O. Russell. The film was released in 2013. It stars Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner and Jennifer Lawrence. This film is based on the FBI ABSCAM operation of the late 1970s and early ’80s. It received ten Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay. American Hustle won three Golden Globe Awards, the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture and is nominated for 10 BAFTA Awards.

The film is about the life one of the great con artist Irving Rosenfeld and his partner Sydney Prosser. Irving has a wife and a son. All his life he tries to protect his family, because this business is illegal and is connected with stolen art. Irving and Sydney are working together for a wild FBI agent, Richie Dimaso. Sydney works under the fake name: Edith Greensly. Carmine Polito is a Major, powerful person in the state of New Jersey, also involves in these deals with a fake art. The group of three FBI agents want to arrest congressmen and the great organization of Mr. Tellegio for bribing and outbidding of stolen items.

The plot twists are brilliant with a simple storyline and a fair number of stars and happy ending. There are many dazzling moments. The film is rather extensive and fast-moving with powerful climax and a well thought-out plot. It is compelling to watch for the development of events in the film. Actions are vivid and exhilarating. Also my attention attracts sensational sound effects and agreeable music.

I recommend this film to people who are interested in art or connect with it. Also to people who like to see film in criminal theme and social problems, politician relationships between countries and people who are in these countries.
